Shainakins is a blogger that I visit daily and am subscribed to her feed. I love this site because she is so real and down to earth. Right now she is going through her pregnancy and just settling back in to her moms house. Check her website out for a down to earth girl living an ordinary life!

My husband started blogging a month or so ago. It has been a funny turn of events. Before he would say that he thought blogging was funny and he hated to use the word blog. Now, I think he rather enjoys blogging and is getting into it and everything that goes along with it. Soon enough my whole family will be blogging. Check out Fwaggle.org.

When my mom bought this house we knew that we were going to need to put a lot of work into it to get it to the way that we want it. It has been a couple of years and although walking into the house you would not know the progress unfortunately. We have done a lot of it by ourselves though. We do know that there will be some work that we can not just do by ourselves.

A couple of those jobs are things such as the roofing and the siding. I do not think the siding on our house has been done in a good couple of decades. If you are in New York shingles are hard and troublesome to put on yourself. Strong Side Builders is a good company that does a lot of home improvement jobs that you may not want or are not able to do. There is a gallery with a lot of pictures from their past jobs that are very impressive! I really like the kitchen work that they do. If you can not or do not want to do a certain job then get a professional to do it for you. I know when we do our roofing and siding we will definitely be hiring someone else to do it. Go big or go home!

Moving sucks. Sure it is exciting and fun to go to a new place and set things up differently. It is also exciting to have a different environment and more space around you but the actual act of moving by itself sucks. Everyone that has moved before has got to agree with me. The last move that I did was from California to Indiana. We drove the whole way in a Penske moving truck.
