There is a certain widget that is on a lot of peoples blogs and websites that you may have noticed. This widget is the Alexa Traffic Widget and it gives you your Alexa score or ranking for the website that it is on. You can also have every single one of your visitors counted towards your rating from having their widget on your website.
So, now the question is, how do you go about getting this widget? Getting it and putting it on your website is a breeze. First you want to start by going to Alexa's website. Now that you are on their website, there is a navigation bar on the top. You now want to find the link called Developer's Corner. After clicking this link you are taken to a page where you have a couple options to click. You can explore all of them later, but for now we want the widget! Click Site Widgets There is two option that you can pick from for a small widget button. The one I also pick is called the "Alexa Traffic Rank Button" which only shows your rank and not links in if you don't want it. Carry on by putting in your URL in the box given. After that it takes you to a screen which you are given a couple options for how the button will look. You copy and paste the HTML code into your blogs sidebar or where ever you may want to put it and save. You now have an Alexa Traffic Widget on your website!
