New years is the time for resolutions. Stopping smoking, drinking, and getting healthy. Losing that weight that you have been meaning to lose. Getting that pile of stuff in the garage sorted and cleaned. The stuff like that. Mine? Get healthy. I am doing it differently this time. Instead of looking at a number of the scale for satisfaction, I will be going by how I feel. Not taking anything like Leptorexin to further it but just knowing that I feel good. I'm not waiting until the new year to start it though. Tomorrow is my day. Personally, I can't wait.

My family, like most families probably, have a Christmas movie that we watch every year around Christmas time. It is a movie that we relate to and I am sure there are a lot of people who actually relate to it. It is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I love the crazy stuff that happens in this movie and always think of the stuff that happens at our house. I also like Nation Lampoon's Vegas vacations movie where they go to Vegas and gamble and stuff. So fun. What's your families Christmas movie?

December is finally here. Marking its arrival officially today and bringing in some snow with it. Are you ready for it? I know I am. We are going to do our decorating today. The husband threw up the tree yesterday and now it just needs to be decorated. The second tree will go up today I believe. They are regular fake Christmas trees. No Fig trees here! Still doing Christmas shopping but slowly getting that done. I can't wait for Christmas.

I have always watched different things on Black Friday and vowed to not go. I was not going to subject myself to the fighting and anger that these shoppers put themselves through just to save some money. This year Jamie wanted to go. I wanted to go and see the chaos that was going to happen so I decided to tag along even though I wasn't supposed to because Jamie was getting a mixer for me. WHICH I GOT! Woohoo! It was not as crazy as I though. Of course I didn't go near the toys or where the PS2's and XBox's were! I stayed away from there. It was kind of funny to see everyone standing at the place they wanted items from. Hilarious even. Would I go again? Only if I was prepared and slept more!

Definitely there are signs that winter is here and coming at us. We had some snow yesterday morning and this morning it was freezing. Wait, I should rephrase that, this afternoon was freezing. I did not wake up until around noon and I have been working pretty much since then. Taking a few breaks here and there. I probably will not go to bed until early morning and start all over. Watch those Blackberry plants though with this weather. They are fragile to it and you may find them dead until next year!
